Bio Note: I was born in the Empire State of New York, grew up in the Golden State of California, last studied in the Lone Star State of Texas, finished my working days in the Sunshine State of Florida, and returned to the West Coast to enjoy retirement between seashores and redwoods. My life as a published poet spans the Americas and the oceans, plus the Internet.
Today's Fruitful Adventure
The alternate lemon tree has copious amounts of fruit. Of their own volition, many ripe lemons fall to the ground. I pick them up one by one and toss them over the ledge. Down below a man named Glen Norman gathers them. He hurls them across the yard into baskets and boxes. His aim is very good, and errorless bushels are made. He looks up at me and shouts "Call me Ken Normal!" His allusion may be beyond my ken, although I'm sure that something about this whole affair is just not normal.
Spin-off #4
