Bio Note: I am a retired psychiatrist who just turned 90 living in the greater Boston area with my wife. I have a book of poetry, “Driftwood”, published in 2022 and have had multiple poems published both online and in print. My interests are running, the arts, and aging.

On Turning Ninety

Big birthday party
Never thought I’d
Receive this gift that
Not many get
In relatively good health
Mind functioning
Wonderful relationships
Fifty years of competitive
Running paid off
Met love of my life
Late in life
Who could ask
For anything more?
