Green Currency
Sure, I can do with all the additional love, but could you go easy on the water, though? Pity she can’t hear my vibes. When Lata dreamt of her naani talking to her plants she started doing the same, telling them of her troubles at the office, gossip about the neighbors, the increasing cost of rice and lentils… The money plant started leafing again. It felt important enough to be treated like an individual. And it would have swayed with the lilting tunes, but there was no breeze in this tiny flat. Did that mean her bank balance would finally go up, as the Indian aunty in the corner flat kept saying?
