Bio Note: I’m a multi-genre writer who spends a lot of time on Facebook working on my blog, The Fringe 999. That is where I found out about Verse-Virtual. My writing has been accepted for publication in the Journal for New Jersey Poets, Smarty Pants Magazine for Kids, and New Note Poetry. My writing grew from a love of wandering around New Jersey, where I live with my partner in Mt Arlington and work on my butterfly garden and expanding waistline.
Zee Sonnet
With a zinnia in her hair Zelda admired her garden of purple and pink azaleas. She gazed at Hemingway would he consider presenting her with a zebra or zebu from his next safari in Zambia? Scott knew of her love for zed and bestowed upon her a sacred page from the Zend-Avesta. It became the zenith of her collection until a zephyr blew it zigzagging into the water.
