Bio Note: Decades ago, my husband and I gave each other permission to stop being lawyers and we went to live in the Georgia woods in a home-made house he designed and largely built by his own hands. Given that, I can appreciate the honesty in "Glass Cabin," having been a part of something similar to what its authors describe about building their cabin in the wilds of North Alabama. These days, circumstances have pulled me out of the Georgia woods back to Florida, where I live with my environmentalist husband and our cross-eyed cat, write poetry, and help edit The Southern Literary Review.
