Bio Note: I am a retired psychiatrist in my late 80’s living in the greater Boston area with my wife. I have a book of poetry, Driftwood, published in 2022 and have had multiple poems published both online and in print. My interests are running, the arts, and aging.

Fifty Years of Running
Fifty years ago was asked to accompany a neighbor as he prepared for a road race. Never stopped running for the next fifty years; countless road races, forty marathons done until I aged out, and now, a walker, with a few running steps, ever so slowly. Wear my Boston Marathon jacket on my daily walks, eliciting conversations from young and old, flooded with memories; still moving in my vintage years.
