Bio Note: I am excited and grateful to be a part of the Verse Virtual community. I started my poetry career after nearly 35 years of practicing law and have since published two poetry books (Precise Moment and synchronicity) while working full-time as an attorney in Manhattan. I am now working on a third poetry book, my second with Southern Arizona Press. It’s been a fantastic, unexpected, and thoroughly enjoyable ride!
Just a Little More
Sometimes, we need just a little more A little more time as we dream the night away A little more breath as we race our way back home A little more alcohol to help us suck up our messiest failures Sometimes, we need a reminder that a little more just won’t cut it even if, sometimes, it’s everything
