The Homecoming was previously featured in the Anthology Ocean Waves, published by Red Penguin Books, New York.
On Beauty
There is then much beauty In this our troubled world, If ye shall seek Ye shall surely find, In the glory and splendour Of the golden sunset Or the soft glow Of the rosy dawn, In those poetic utterances In the stillness of twilight And evensong, Yea, there is much beauty In contemplation, in quietude That lifts the soul Above the plane of mundane existence To higher, subtler realms of beauty And inexpressible truths, Of quiet joy and peace And gentle harmony with all, As you then exist in beauty.
