Bio Note: Spring is the great revitalizer of beauty budding outside our windows as well as an urge to tend to the creative gardens of our souls. These days Nature’s nurturance seems even more essential. Recently my work has appeared on Highland Park Poetry, Your Daily Poem, and Storyteller Poetry Review.
Star Trails
Some grip their lanterns through a great darkness, hearts so tightly woven in the ways of this world, mere shadows of who they might be while others, often ignored or even deemed mad, channel true power, minds illuminated by all that is holy despite the heaviness hunkering down around us… Picture Vincent viewing the countryside of St. Remy from an open window before dawn at St. Paul asylum Imagine the genius of his sight akin to the light from a camera not yet invented for another century or so, capturing with transcendent vision star trails scoring the night sky

The Road
Here is the road: the light comes and goes then returns again. Be gentle with your fellow travelers as they move through the world of stone and stars whirling with you yet every one alone. The road waits. Do not ask questions but when it invites you to dance at daybreak, say yes. Each step is the journey; a single note the song.
