east coast wildfire smoke, june 7th, 2023
orchard spider steadfast and suspended between yellow irises surrounded by trophies of wrapped flies taking in summer pollen and the yellow smoke smelling of wildfire
afterthought
the afterglow fades . . . a blue dragonfly escapes the sundew healing in pondweed the red blush on its eyes keeping its brilliance.
