Bio Note: I was content during the pandemic, being confined to a space with books I've never read, movies I've not seen. During that time I discovered new voices, poets such as Beth Gordon, CT Salazar, Alicia Mountain, Jericho Brown, Erika Meitner, etc. I began purchasing more and more poetry books on-line to the point where I needed to build new shelves. My poetry has appeared in hundreds of journals such as Feral, River Heron, and El Portal.
Holding Pattern: When Pilots Don't Know What to Do
I’m in need of life preservers, Lifesavers, White Castle chicken rings – any and all things that remind me of eternity. Hole in the middle as if that space might be problematic, like what do we do with the students who buck the system? Kids in a hole-ding pattern, ones who need to see the commode water go the other way without having to move to Australia.
