Bio Note: After 30 years as editor and writer for several scholarly and trade publications, I drove a school bus for several years teaching high schoolers how to respond when an adult says good morning and first graders that it’s probably best they not lick the seat in front of them. My collection The Sacred Monotony of Breath (2015) received an Edna Meudt Poetry Book Award from the Council for Wisconsin Writers. My new collection, Dust on the Sill, is forthcoming from Kelsay Books in late 2023.

Let's Talk
Early mornings I am visited-- friends, family, strangers, acquaintances slip between the crevices of fluttering eyelids, sometimes fall deep into the caverns of dream, I suspect that I, too, visit them but, like me, they never say.
