Bio Note: I am a retired psychiatrist in my late 80’s living in the greater Boston area with my wife. I have a book of poetry, Driftwood, published in 2022 and have had multiple poems published both online and in print. My interests are running, the arts, and aging.
University Football
Train to Montreal,
university band played,
some met future wives,
a party all the way;
some made it to
the football game.
Spent all night
speaking fractured
French and drinking
beer in a small
walk-up in the city.
Can’t remember
returning to Toronto,
but what a weekend,
university football
was a blast
even if we never
made it to the game.
