Fortunate Find
Again, my handlers regularly remind me to record in writing each day an experience that I might want to revisit in the future, circumstances warranting. Compliant citizen that I am I have been doing so. Today was our monthly treat of local Chinese food, which of course must always include fortune cookies. My mate's little slip of paper within had a message concerning awareness, avoidance, danger. Good one. The crispy treat for me was totally empty, nada, zilch. Then that ever pesky voice in my head encouraged me to compose my own custom fortune-cookie advice. I came up with the following suggestion-following gem: Your fictionalized realities ought to be just as current as your realized fictions. The aphorisms in those cookies are in such tiny print that, yes, my own prize diction ought to fit just fine.
