Stardust
Stardust Burning white-hot stars Or Red Giants Shooting electrons Atoms, particles, and quarks Spewed into the black void Creating new worlds and creatures. Grey ash Meteors falling Covering earth Planets and moons Feeding new life New beings. Ashes Our ashes Millenia of ashes Our dead What will I become? A soaring condor A slick silver-blue barracuda A slithering venomous snake Or a fragrant red rose Or an unknown being on a distant world Light years away Carried by the solar wind. Stardust.
