Bio Note: I'm enjoying summer in Vermont where the air is influenced by Canadian wildfires but not nearly as much as in most other places--looking through the old files with the idea of putting together a new book. Recent books and others available at foothillspublishing.org.
Friendship
This funky oversized sweater is a gift from my friend Tom. It’s a bargain garment and prone to holes, but the holes don’t bother me. I sew it right up, wear it, and think of him
Clearwater Lake
We planned to kayak out to admire the bottom at ten meters as described in the Manitoba tourist brochure but the thermometer said forty-four degrees when we woke that mid-August morning and we were flexible. We broke camp quickly and headed to town for diner hashbrowns sausage, eggs, toast, then moved on to Flin Flon, the forests of north Saskatchewan, city streets of Saskatoon.
