Bio Note: I enjoy writing with an old-fashioned feathered quill at the beach in my spiral notebook. My poetry and short stories have been featured in 12 different publications including The Wise Owl, impspired Magazine, and Cold Moon Journal. I started writing songs and poetry around age 7. After being diagnosed with a mental illness in my 40’s, I upped my writing game and published my first book Poetry of a Paranoid Schizophrenic. I was a professional massage therapist, dancer, actress, director and singer/songwriter in California. My creative writing, love of my husband, therapy, and medications have worked wonders on my psyche. I now live a stable life with my husband in Clermont, Florida where we enjoy surfing at the beaches and going to the many amusement parks of Orlando. I also study Pranic healing.Check out my YouTube music video

The Ravages of Time
I remember a White bikini In photographs. A young body With ample curves, But not heavy. Magazines called Wanting me again When I was young. I was striking Playful poses In the hot sun. At fifty-four They don’t Call anymore. Dark circles Under eyes Kill the beauty. What once Was firmness, Now sags. Where time Was once quick, Now it lags.
