rapt

rainy evening

trekking through 
lily pads

a blue heron
and a frog

taking leaps of

faith

death anniversary

these damn ragweed
these damn tears

winds through
bare blossoms

how cliché

yet this
bitter cold

goes to the
bone

to the heart
to the mind

and soul.
