Bio Note: I recently began writing poetry at nearly age 65, after retiring from a long career as an attorney. When not writing poetry, I enjoy traveling with my family, and reading anthologies of 20th Century American and British poems. In addition to Verse-Virtual, my poems have appeared in The Lyric Magazine, Snakeskin, and The Society of Classical Poets, among other journals.
Approbation
When I don’t get the recognition
I think is deserved,
I cook emotional nutrition
Which is then self-served.
