I sincerely hope that you take the time to get to know your Editor, Contributing Editors, and columnists better through their bio notes and poems in this issue. This is a diverse group of people with a wealth of experience who provide a foundation for every issue of Verse-Virtual. Aside from me, they get little attention, other than being listed on the Masthead, and providing poems for each issue. I decided months ago that since October is my birth month, I would give the community this gift - an in-depth look at these good people. If you are moved by their stories and their poems, writing to them would be a perfect way to say "Thank you!"

Submissions for November open on October 1 and close on October 10. If you submitted for September, please wait until the December submissions open to submit again. Those who submitted for August, or who have not submitted for longer than that, may send us your work for November. The OPTIONAL theme for November is "Fading Light" however you want to interpret it.
