Spring Memories
Spring has always been a special time of year, my birthday, Passover with family gatherings, but I grew up in Canada, a land of long winters and yearned for a warm April, thrilled when I saw beautiful tulip fields in Holland and enjoyed the romance of April in Paris. But, above all, the Boston Marathon miles of cheering crowds, blossoming magnolias, sunny days or pouring rain, the crack of the bats signaling another season at Fenway Park and a smiling Citgo sign saying “It’s spring again”.
