Bio Note: I am a retired psychiatrist in my late 80’s living in Brookline, MA with my wife. I am passionate about poetry, music and running. My poems have been published in various journals and anthologies. I have a forthcoming book of poetry, “Driftwood", due to be published in late fall 2022.
Bionic Man
Yesterday my left knee became a match for my right knee; now they’re both filled with hardware setting off alarms as I traipse through airport gates. But I don’t care if they do. I miss mobility, like an old car I need new parts to add more miles.
