Bionic Man
Yesterday my
left knee
became a
match for
my right knee;
now they’re
both filled
with hardware
setting off
alarms as I
traipse through
airport gates.
But I don’t
care if they do.
I miss mobility,
like an old car
I need new
parts to add
more miles.
