Bio Note: As I enter my fiftieth year, I am confronted with both physical and philosophical challenges I am trying to resolve. It is my custom to satirize problems in order to make them easier to endure.
Midlife Crisis
I don’t need a red sports car or a woman half my age who never heard of Jethro Tull. I never regretted my lack of affluence as I never really had much ambition. What I want I cannot have: an earnest wish for the arrogant to be embarrassed the corrupt to be exposed the powerful to shoulder responsibility and for the stupid to find lodgings on another planet, preferably one without an atmosphere. I wouldn’t mind being able to read without glasses either.
