Bio Note: The best recent news is my delight at posting the 200th podcast episode at www.poetryspokenhere.com featuring Tanya Tagaq, Inuit throat singing sensation (Polaris award for best album in Canada, 2014) who authored the genre-bending SPLIT TOOTH.
Listening to Pierre Boulez
Some people don’t like music like this, music they can’t dance to. In truth, you can dance to anything-- the breaking up of lake ice, random barks of the neighbor’s dog, the sound of knuckles cracking.
Thanksgiving Letter
Dear Friends, you will be glad to know we have secured an ultimate turkey for this thanksgiving, lovingly raised by vegan virgins who brush their teeth three times a day and have had all their shots. This turkey was hand fed organic worms and corn grown from ancient Aztec heirloom seeds found at an archaeological site deep in the Mexican jungles. If you’re wondering what all the special care and treatment does to the flavor, not to worry. It tastes like chicken. sent to Mimi, Oct 4, 2018
