Bio Note: Aside from having haikus published in journals, such as Modern Haiku, The Cicada's Cry, and hedgerow, I've had other poetry published into collections; many by Eber & Wein Publishing, in Pennsylvania, all while working with the merch crew at a Costco store.
high is the stonefly’s love branch (a valentine poem for 2022)
at the lake’s edge, stoneflies bidding farewell to their watery homes emerging, passing pillwort climbing rocks and branches for their season of love. all day long they conduct their drumming hoping their vibrations reach as far as the lake’s other edge and back and forth and back and forth.
recapitulation of an old story
chalk drawings: purple smileys green hearts black unicorns but once again the rain . . . and once again the blank sidewalks for the next generation of young artists
