Bio Notes:
Christine L. Villa: I am a Filipino-American children’s book author and publisher who lives in California with a Maltipoo named Haiku. I am the author of The Bluebird’s Cry (a haiku and tanka collection) and the founding editor and publisher of Frameless Sky (a short-form poetry video journal) and of Velvet Dusk Publishing. My children’s books, poetry, mixed media art, and photographs have won awards and recognition.
Susan Beth Furst: I am a poet and children's book author who loves playing the ukulele and painting with watercolors. My children's book, The Hole in My Haiku, was inspired by my mother-in-law's stories of the holocaust. It is about a young boy named Samuel who survived the Lodz ghetto most amazingly through love, hope, and the power of cherry blossoms.
Barbara Tate: I reside in Tennessee with my Poodle and a new laptop, living an almost hermetic life. Retired from the Law Dept. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and as past President of the Tri County Society of Fine Art, I am celebrating completion of what will probably be my last 2 books far more than I ever was and darkness in a noonday night.
