A money plant
in a half-cut bucket
starkly
silhouetted
by a lamp in the roof
of an empty balcony
in a big apartment-building
—windows, door
closed on this
early summer night,
accentuating the urban solitude
of the crowds
and multiple atoms in the same orbits.
