Bio Note: My Motto is: one can accomplish much with no fear, a bit of talent and lots of energy. I enjoy science (my profession), poetry, running, fishing, gardening, songwriting and singing as well as sculpting. I am the father of two daughters and am married to a professor of nutrition. My poetry publication credits include Pearl, Feh and a Poetry Motel broadside and I am currently working on a fictional memoir in graphic novel format.
Hand Sanitizer
Years, no, weeks ago, I had no use for hand Disinfectant. No peering at label’s Alcohol content, Like I do for bottles Of Cabernet, and Mid-level ethanol. Or wipes, I mean Who carried those Around -- cleansing Store entrance knobs And just purchased Ho Hos. Should I buy A clear bottle Or a tinted bottle? Should I wear a mask? May I touch my face, Or my Wife’s -- My daughter’s rosy cheeks? So many questions.
Bullies Will Be Bullies
King of the Food bar, Strutting his Stuff. Preening Rock star Stomach bulging. A blushing male Teenager really, Approaches, and Bully hurtles From Above, Eyes sparking Yellow anger. White patches flare And the redbird flees. While the Mockingbird Returns to the Peak of the feeder.
