Bio Note: I live in Berkeley, California where I have been teaching meditation to

light weight of everything
because everything today is happening like a dream gentleness pleasure sunbeams placing their heat the voice of a child passes by a young mother’s movements as rhythmic as dancing her enormous earrings and darting eyes her delicate voice with the child from the road, a boombox-beat, a car stops, and with vibrating windows the car invites the mother and child I glimpse the driver’s smiling face because today the satisfied sky has a blue glow but the car is a thundering instrument, walking-by, a gray-haired man motions his hands in disapproval
