For Love of Osprey
We bow to your presence and prevailing grace, watch through division, a chain link divide, where sundown seeps color and poetry of place. Past an archway of pine, where branches embrace, between lake and river, osprey reside. We bow to your presence and prevailing grace. Vines and barbed wire weave filigree and lace, atop a framework of steel, nestlings abide, where sundown seeps color and poetry of place. Wings lift, hover, feet plunge for the chase, when a catfish is caught where talons collide. We bow to your presence and prevailing grace. Above gulls, swallows, a landscape of space, soaring toward nest, you gleam as you glide, where sundown seeps color and poetry of place. Chicks whistle with hunger, an audible race, when meals appear and the ruckus subsides. We bow to your presence and prevailing grace, where sundown seeps color and poetry of place.

The Seascape of Sprites
—after a painting by John Anster Fitzgerald, "Sea Sprites in Flight" Fairylike creatures align near the shore. Magic appears in the phantasmal night. Elfin-folk rise midst the mythos and lore. The Tempest unlocks an artistic door. Silken strokes master a seascape of sprites. Fairylike creatures align near the shore. Air spirits drift in the squall of sky’s force. Ariel leads the fay-legion of light. Elfin-folk rise midst the mythos and lore. Caliban grumbles a half-monster roar. Miranda faces his olive drab fright. Fairylike creatures align near the shore. The sylphid abide in luminous corps. Antennae sprigs spray in pastels and white. Elfin-folk rise midst the mythos and lore. Fictional entities lift, surf, and soar. Strong contrasts render the drama of flight. Fairylike creatures align near the shore. Elfin-folk rise midst the mythos and lore.
