Pandemic Poems - APRIL 2020
Bio Note: I resumed writing after forty odd years in foreign intelligence and international sales. I've
had over two hundred fifty stories and poems published so far, and six books. I work the other side of writing at
Bewildering Stories, where I sit on the review board and manage a posse of six review editors.
Risky Living
We are animals whose pack dispersed, leaving us to forage in fear. The cues we take from shoulder mates have dwindled into electronic haze. Our reassurances have shriveled with our compact of accommodation. Bad now, but worse if we lose our desire for community and begin to forage off each other.

It is very important. -JL
