Religion is Under Attack
With his head bowed the old priest crosses the church parking lot while all around him squirrels drop shells
Farce
Five crows with the sheen of wet asphalt pace the vacant church parking lot, like the first mourners to arrive for a funeral only to discover the sanctuary doors are locked; now what? Leave it to the clown prince of the acorn kingdom, who leaps from one branch only to miss the next and falls to the street with a loud plop
