Verse-Virtual is both a community and a journal. Persons who want to submit their poetry to the journal should be interested in being part of the community.
This is not the place for poets who just want to see their work published. Neither is it a workshop.
If you haven't already done so, please read the ABOUT page before continuing. Also, to get a better understanding of V-V and what types of poems we publish, please read the May or June issues of the journal (in the archives) thoroughly and see our Facebook group page at: www.facebook.com/groups/verse-virtual.

If — after all that — you think you and V-V are a good match, please:
- Send up to three poems in the body of an email AND ALSO in a SINGLE attached document (doc, docx or rtf -- not pdf) to me at
submissions4vv@gmail.com.
- Write "POEMS" and your NAME in the subject line of the email.
- At the top of the email write your name, email address, website address, a short cover letter,
and a short friendly bionote no more than four sentences long. Please cast your bio in the first person and provide a few interesting personal details
before listing no more than three of your publishing credits. Note: In Verse-Virtual, the object of the bio is not to brag; rather it is to
informally introduce yourself to your readers in a friendly way. If you send me a bio that looks like a standard "here are my accolades", I won't use it.
- Beneath your bio PLEASE tell me how you heard about Verse-Virtual.
- Send poems without peculiar formatting. All poems should be SINGLE-SPACED and aligned with the LEFT-HAND margin and in Times Roman 12 point font.
- Don't send any poems with 'adult' content, pointless profanity, hate speech, racist rants, and the like. Just don't.
- Simultaneous submissions and reprints are fine. However, if you have a poem accepted somewhere else, you should let me know so it doesn't get published here first, while another journal is expecting to publish it. Copyright of all written material at all times belongs to the author.
