December 2020
Bio Note: I know what we experience in California is Winter Lite, but still, the days are shorter
and this year, especially, will be spent more inside and in introspection. As much as I struggle with depression
and isolation, this time of pulling back seems to be necessary for me as an opportunity to absorb, and with any
luck, grow as I enter a new year.
Now is the Winter
Now is the time for hibernation, now is the time for rest – with sealed eyes I face the dark, with stomach full, I digest – all the seasons that came before, all that are yet to come, I lie down on the cool cave floor and to the shadows, I succumb.
