Dear V-V Villagers,

In honor of National Poetry Month our theme for this issue was POEMS ABOUT POETRY.  Some editors and some writers have issues with publishing ars poetrica. But I don't. And we have some extraordinary offerings here.

THERE IS NO THEME FOR MAY. 

My main mission at this time is to shrink V-V journal into a more manageable size.  I can't do all that work anymore.  I will have to be choosier about what I accept. I want you to begin submitting poems every other month or every couple of months.  I want to give V-V the best chance it has to survive.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I ACCEPT SUBMISSIONS ONLY DURING THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF THE MONTH PRECEDING THE ISSUE MONTH -- NOT EARLIER OR LATER.
