When I was a young child my parents would take me apple-picking.  It was a delightful experience which is now a delightful memory. 

Apples are the best of fruits
Never do they let you down
Macintosh and Granny Smith
Cortland, Baldwin, crab, and Rome —

Then we've got Delicious, too — 
(Don't forget the cool Macoun)
Matters not the one you pick:
Every apple takes you home.
