A b o u t V e r s e - V i r t u a l
Verse-Virtual is a special place. Unusual, to be sure. I imagine you won't find anything quite like it elsewhere on the Internet.
We are a community first. And then we are a journal. In the beginning the community came out of the journal. Now the journal comes out of the community.
Here, the focus is on kindness. Kindness and care. These, plus a bit of reading and writing make for what has become a virtual family. A large one.
The process couldn't be simpler:
Readers read the poems and articles in the journal. When they come across ones they like they write emails to the authors to tell them. Communication happens; friendships develop.
V-Vs also write short reviews of poems they like and send them out to all the persons on the current-month's email list of contributors.
Our Facebook group page www.facebook.com/groups/versevirtual is a good place to post notices of publications and other news; another special feature of the FB page is that it provides members (who don't have to be published in the journal) with a venue for personal posts (so we can get to know each other better) and conversations on various aspects of poetry.
If you want to know more about V-V, please read the SUBMIT page.
