The Mathematics of Adoration
The pink geranium reflected in the glass
of the patio table will never be
as intense as it is this moment
when it is perfect
as a ring of words
that has no counterpart beyond itself
as the flower is this moment a reflection
of itself, fire-pressed in glass & all
other things that are precisely now.
from Artificial Life, (BlazeVOX Books, 2009)
