I grew up in small town Ohio and will always feel like a Midwesterner but live in Arlington, Virginia with a wife, daughter, a cat and a dog.  My credits include a Certificate of Laughter from the DC Improv Comedy Club and first place in my fifth grade school hobby contest. Fossil Humor


Geologists found the earth's oldest known fossils
They had been enjoying three and half billion years
in western Australia
since Proterozoic era.
Now they sit in a museum
where you can see them
between the hours of ten and five
except Mondays and Holidays.
If fossils could laugh
they would.





Godly Dementia


In a cost-saving measure
that coincided with dementia
God replaced all supernovas in the universe
with broccoli stalks
"At least," astounded astronomers noted
"it wasn't the other way around."
