I am an optimist, linguist, singer and M.F.A. candidate at Bennington College. My collection World Class: Poems Inspired by the ESL Classroom is based on my experiences teaching English to adult immigrants. Do a good deed
Take time for Christmas devotions

Departures delayed
De-icing, detours
Deplane with no time to spare

Defrost the bird
Deglaze the pan
Decant the wine for a toast

Delightful, delicious, depressing
