I am an Irish-born comedy writer. I have written jokes no one has laughed at, radio plays no one has listened to, a television series no one watched and a novel The Creative Lower Being no one read. I should be a very morose individual but I am not because I am deeply passionate about facilitating my delusions. I am currently writer-in-residence in my home in Dublin. My new novel Ireland’s Favourite Failure is available on Amazon Kindle. A Poem with the Word Cancer in the Title
In avoiding people you know who have cancer
you acquire the nimble dexterity of a dancer
leaping as you cross the street
to escape that awkward meet
and charging on ahead like a Bengal Lancer
