Bio Note I retired three years ago and have been at poetry full-tilt since then. My poetry journal- South Florida Poetry Journal-SoFloPoJo- and my own writing have
kept me busy. That includes workshops, AWP, Palm Beach Poetry Festival and Miami Book Fair.
So that means I'm broke. Still, I love having the time to do what I love. My poems have appeared in many journals. I have had four collections of poetry published by small presses. I'm working on a fifth.

Sleeping With Dancers
There are trumpets and cellos. The humid moon bangs on our window but there’s a mist in your touch that fogs up hearing. We only hear our tiger breath raging in our ears the breathing of hot anatomy in a summerflesh of night. My bed is a squeaking toy and the sting of sweat in our eyes is sweet in our mouths. In crushed waves of moonlight we ease down in the dark stream of the fan’s sleepycool breeze You whisper: love is the geometry of fire.
