I am a real person who lives in an imaginary world that I built around me. I edit an online journal, The Literary Nest. Circumstances led me to shun my first love, poetry, and a significant part of my life was squandered away building the innards of computers. Now I write poetry, most of which gets rejected, but a few have found homes in Plath Poetry Project, Ink & Nebula, Foliate Oak, The Lake, miller’s pond poetry, and other literary journals.
Ocean
With every direction open,
the billowing waves,
shifting sand under my feet,
and foam spilling on the shore,
the hunter is on the loose.
A Small Hope
The crisp winter morning breaks the spell of
the night’s long snowfall, and
a yellow porch light under the cold sky
burns like a small hope flickering in my heart.
