I am British-born but Bahamian-raised and, despite my name, male. My education came from good schools, hitchhiking on five continents and working all over the place. My poetry has mostly been published in the UK (Snakeskin, Ambit, etc), but also in the US (The HyperTexts, etc), Canada, Australia and India. I live in my hometown of Governor's Harbour on Eleuthera.
GURU LIMERICK
A wealthy young prince called Gautama
Loathed worship of Krishna and Rama;
“It’s inside you,” he said
But, once he was dead,
He was worshipped.... That’s interesting karma!
