Note: Relying on the concept of Karma may be a delusion, but it makes me feel better. I was raised with a belief that the wicked would be punished in hell, but as a long-lapsed Catholic that comfort no longer applies. Thus, I'm turning to Karma envisioning that Mr. Trump may return as a large orange vegetable, most likely a pumpkin and his collaborators as rather unpleasant vegetables such as kohlrabi, rutabaga, turnips and parsnips.
KARMA
I used to wish I believed in hell
So the wicked would learn that consequence
Means everything.
The idea of roasting on a spit for eternity
Had its appeal, sufficient to spur the Middle Ages
To erect the great cathedrals, to impel
The magnificent artists to focus on Madonnas.
Now, however, I will settle for Karma,
The here and now I hope to witness,
How those who shouted Lock Her Up
Will be sentenced.
