Bio Note: I live in the beautiful Berkshires with one foot in the poetry world and one foot in the
comedy world—and my hands full with gaming. I enjoy when I can jump into something with both feet, but happily
give attention to either. I often perform at local poetry mics, and write my award-winning humor column
"The Pun Also Rises" for the Berkshire Eagle.
Rainy Night in the Middle of the Road
Bare skin slaps against the cold, wet asphalt Rough under my feet Making all the more glorious Those smooth yellow dashes of paint
Proper Care of Sicknesses
Feed a fever Starve a cold Throw a banquet for the flu Support a headache with kind words Insult back pain with vulgarities Undermine the confidence of a stomachache by giving insincere compliments to foment doubt Go to the movies with an ingrown toenail Play boardgames with an ear infection, cheat, and steal money from the bank when it isn't looking. Take a heartache out to a nice dinner, be very attentive, and listen to everything it has to say.
